Additional information
The data concerns city-cycle fuel consumption in miles per gallon (Mpg), to be predicted in terms of 1 multivalued discrete and 5 continuous attributes (two multivalued discrete attributes (Cylinders and Origin) from the original dataset (autoMPG6) are removed).
This dataset is a slightly modified version of the dataset provided in the StatLib library. In line with the use by Ross Quinlan (1993) in predicting the attribute Mpg, 6 of the original instances were removed because they had unknown values for the Mpg attribute.
In this section you can download some files related to the autoMPG6 data set:
- The complete data set already formatted in KEEL format can be downloaded from
here.
- A copy of the data set already partitioned by means of a 5-folds cross validation procedure can be downloaded from here.
- The header file associated to this data set can be downloaded from here.
- This is not a native data set from the KEEL project. It has been obtained from the UCI Machine Learning Repository. The original page where the data set can be found is: http://archive.ics.uci.edu/ml/datasets/Auto+MPG.
